The “One Ghana Cedi for Higher Education” project is a fundraising initiative spearheaded by the Naa Amerley Palm Education (NAPE) Foundation, to reach individuals and corporate bodies to support rural students across Ghana.
Our rural outreaches have demonstrated that there are several brilliant but financially challenged students in Ghana. We believe in giving more students in these areas and beyond an opportunity to embark on a journey that would transform their lives, communities and the country at large.
Who are we?
The Naa Amerley Palm Education (NAPE) Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in Ghana and the United States that provides higher educational opportunities to Ghanaians to promote sustainability. Currently, the Foundation focuses on sponsoring students to attend the Palm Institute

IN THE WORDS OF SOME BENEFICIARIES
Happy Aforkpah | Diploma in Computerized Accounting
“Growing up in a small community in Dabala, Volta Region did not demotivate me from pursing higher education. However, the financial conditions at home was a huge barrier. NAPE Foundation has given me every reason to have hope and has brought a smile to my face. I feel encouraged to fight with all my strength in whatever I wish to become knowing that with God all things are possible. Also, education here at Palm Institute is very different and positive because of the effort and support from our Lecturers and Management.”
Foster Sie | Business Administration
“NAPE Foundation has helped me a lot because after my senior high school education in the suburb of Sampa in the Brong-Ahafo Region, all hope of continuing to the next level of my education was lost because there was no money to support me. Now that NAPE Foundation is supporting me through the scholarship I know I can achieve my dream of becoming a manager.”
HOW CAN YOU PARTNER WITH US?
For individuals who want to partner with us by donating more than GH₵1 weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually.
ADOPT A STUDENT
This platform allows you to sponsor a student either partially or fully through our scholarship Fund. Currently, we have twenty (20) out of fifty (50) students for the 2016/2017 academic year who are willing and yearning to pursue higher education at the Palm Institute but are unable to afford tuition of GHS 3,000.00 per year.
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU DONATE?
We want all our donors to witness the journey of the students they support. Hence, we ensure that all donors are updated monthly, quarterly and annually via email. However, the sponsor is allowed to decide to what extent they want to be a part of the journey.
SUPPORT THE BIGGER PICTURE
We believe that you can partner with us to give more students in these rural areas in Ghana the opportunity to access higher education.
